jono divides his time between architectural practice and experimental design research. jono is a graduate or rmit architecture, where he developed extensive experience in code-based production, parametric modelling, 3d scanning, rapid prototyping, and other numerically controlled manufacturing techniques, under the guidance of mark burry in the spatial information architecture laboratory. his interest in form making through emergent process, in particular those which act directly through surface is focussed towards that which not achievable through the traditions of drawing and explicit modelling. currently working for ashton raggatt mcdougal architects in melbourne, he has also worked for kovac architeture, david lancashire design and MinifieNixon architects.
a passionate advocate for heaps of unimportant stuff. he is currently trying to keep a low profile, and concentrate on his work.
