Rendering of Tatu's current ramp design

Why did we feel a need to alter the existing ramp which was generated in phase two?
This ramp was constructed to go to three points (A, B, C) which are all located at different levels of the building. We felt that the coiled ramp structure was in many ways “squashed” to fit within the confines of the three levels. Our intention is that the revised ramp will be much more undefined or confined in its pathways. People have the ability to navigate through a series of “terraces” to get to their desired destination.

The EVA Sleaving was epoxied with the hope that it would retain its form. To an extent it did, but this test was done with 5min epoxy - results would be better with say a Wests pourable epoxy or M1. In this state it is not sandable and is realatively hard to work with.

Now the EVA sleeving has been epoxied properly, it is quite a workable form which will enable us to complete the ramps. Images of this new ramp will be up as soon as possible.
