MAJOR ASSIGNMENT
This 2003 2nd semester project was about SYMBIOSIS. I was interested by Kisho Kurokawa's interpretation of Symbiosis, hence the form of this Museum was generated by primary forms of circles, squares and triangles. As these forms symbolizes the DNA codes / characteristics of life.
'REALISTIC'RENDER
This final image was incorporated into my summer Portfolio 2004.
I was intrigued by Zaha Hadid's renderings and the way she conveys her ideas of her design through her paintings. In my render, I try to adapt her renderings and distorted perspectives into this image.
'ARTISTIC'RENDER
I chose Howard Arkley because I was interested in the colors he chose as well as the way he perceives the suburban architecture. Here are some of my attempts of Howard Arkley's renderings:
STEPS
1.Use his palette to create my pattern.
2.Select the area that I want to fill with the pattern.
3.Fill image with thick bold black lines as found in all his paintings.
4.Use of bright colors as in his palette.
5.Transform and free scale my image accordingly.
6.Superimpose image into his paintings.
