KianPengSays: Regarding your 20MB Cad Model that usually Crush in MAX... If you Optimize the model when u import to MAX will most likely solve the problems, I belief that happened because of the size of model in MAX. CAD model will multiply the polygon when import to MAX. Hopefully this will helps a bit for you.

Another method is to break the model into smaller bits, maybe only exporting one layer at a time. Make sure that you are not importing extra geometry unecessarily - for example, terrain can be made much more cheaply in max.

and for your portable disk.. i only can help use home comp.. school not allowed us to format from there... wondering is that just the problem at formating ?? if this the couse i might can help... if i try to remember..hopefully i not forget yet.... >_<
