- LiveNest was a collaborative process working space for participants in the 2003 undergrad SIAL theory/communications stream.
- OmnipresentArchitecture was an architectural design studio investigating architectural character, operations of transformation as part of character exploration and perception as an attribute of architecture. The studio will design a suburb of Big Brother houses in a globally remote location.

A 25 second animated film commissioned for The House of Tomorrow (Experimenta's Exhibition; September 2003). The team: animation - Gina Moore (AIM, RMIT); concept development and scripting - Pia Ednie-Brown (Architecture and SIAL, RMIT) and Jeremy Yuille (Communications + SIAL, RMIT). - TheShower was an installation project commissioned for The House of Tomorrow (Experimenta's Exhibition; September 2003). The project is being done by Bruce Mowson and Pia Ednie-Brown with Jonathon Podborsek, Jon Racek, Jane Caught and Tim Schork.

- BirdsAndBees was an installation project exhibited at the RMIT Project Space from 15 September to 5 October. It is a collaboration with seven melbourne architects and one curator.
- the DesignSynergies elective is a project investigating inter/trans/whatever disciplinarity, in light of the proposed B.Des. Its being run by Sue Dimasi and Julian Raxworthy, and includes students of Fashion, Textiles (hopefully), Landscape, Architecture, Industrial, Interior & Communications.
